Description:
[RESOLVED] HTML editor may save content links incorrectly
This issue has been resolved.
Problem: When the HTML editor is used on a content page, and that page is saved in a folder other than the course content root folder, content links within the page may be saved incorrectly. This typically does not happen when the page is created, but will occur each subsequent time the page is edited and saved.
Workaround: If you use HTML pages in your content area, and those pages link in turn to other files in your course content path, make sure to locate those page files in the course content root.
If you must place content pages in subfolders, you should avoid editing them with the built-in HTML editor.
Example: a content page with the following path can be altered via the built-in HTML editor with no problems:
/my/course/path/mycontent.html
However, a page with the following path will be "broken" if the built-in HTML editor is used:
/my/course/path/subfolder1/mycontent.html
The vendor is aware of the bug, and a fix will be delivered in a future release.
