Description:
[RESOLVED] Daylight saving time issues
The change in when daylight saving time occurs could possibly have effects on items that have date/time restrictions. In order to avoid any possible malfunctions, D2L makes the following suggestions:
Please be aware you should monitor quizzes or other time dependent tools as there could potentially be problems with retrieving or accessing data that is date/time stamp dependent. This affects:
Quizzes with time restrictions Saturday March 8, 7:59pm ET and Sunday March 9, 2:00 am YOUR LOCAL TIME ZONE. Where possible quizzes should not be accessible and/or started prior to the above time.
Where possible avoid setting due dates between Saturday March 8, 7:59pm ET and Sunday March 9, 2:00am YOUR LOCAL TIME ZONE.
Clients MAY see odd behavior in the time zone adjustment. Desire2Learn has looked at these versions of the platform however, we want you to take extra care in monitoring after the time shift and let us know of any odd behavior.
