Description:
[RESOLVED] If a numeric item has points above the total allowed, and the total allowed is changed, the value for the item will be increased to the total allowed.
This issue has been resolved. If you increase the total allowed amount for a numeric item that is set to exceed, the student's score remains the same.
If you create a numeric grade item that allows the assigned points to exceed the maximum value of the grade item and some of the scores that get entered are in excess of the grade items maximum value when that ability is disallowed, but seems to assume that the maximum value will not change.
Workaround: It is preferable to create a new grade item and re-enter the values so that this problem can be avoided (this can be accomplished by means of creating a new grade item, exporting grades to a .csv file, transferring the scores from the old grade item to the new, uploading the same sheet, and then deleting the initial grade item).
