FAQ: Dropbox (Assignments)

I can't download an assignment file a student has posted. Why not?

If the filename includes one or more of the following characters, or if there is a space before the filename, the student can upload it but you will not be able to download it:

“ ” * / : ; < > ? \ | ‘ ’ & #

If this is the case, ask your student to rename the file and re-submit it.

Can I delete feedback I left for a student in the Dropbox?

Yes. Here’s how:

1. Click Dropbox in the NavBar.
2. Click the assignment folder name.
3. Click Feedback Left next to the student name you wish to delete feedback for.
   
4. Delete the feedback you wrote from the feedback box.
5. Click Save.
