What kind of training is available?

Staff from ITS-Instructional Services are working with representatives from each college to arrange for training events that best fit the needs of that college. We are available to provide workshops for departments or small groups of faculty and staff upon request. Contact Annette Beck (335-6043, annette-beck@uiowa.edu) to arrange for a workshop, or visit http://its.uiowa.edu/training/ for an up-to-date list of training opportunities.

We also offer introductory workshops as part of the NExTT Workshops, scheduled before the beginning of each fall and spring semesters. For scheduling and registration information, go to http://its.uiowa.edu/training/

What about online help?

Printer-friendly, searchable online help is available for most ICON functions. You’ll find a link in several places, including the ICON login page and the top navigation bar inside your ICON course. There are also narrated video demonstrations of gradebook and dropbox (assignment) functions.
