What kind of training is available?
Staff from ITS-Instructional Services are working with representatives from each college to arrange for training events that best fit the needs of that college. We are available to provide workshops for departments or small groups of faculty and staff upon request. Contact the ITS Help Desk (firstname.lastname@example.org) to arrange for a workshop.
We are also happy to do one-on-one consultations. Please contact the ITS Help Desk (email@example.com) to arrange an appointment.
What about online help?
Printer-friendly, searchable online help is available for most ICON functions. You’ll find a link in several places, including the ICON login page and the top navigation bar inside your ICON course. There are also narrated video demonstrations of gradebook and dropbox (assignment) functions.
What if I prefer to talk with real people?
Consultants are on hand to answer questions from 8 to 5 on weekdays. Contact the ITS Help Desk (384-HELP or firstname.lastname@example.org). We are also available for walk-in help in our location at the University Capitol Centre (second floor, South end).
